Healing for Warrington

• Our Vision:

To contribute to improving the health and well being of people in Warrington.

 • Our mission:

To provide people with Warrington with opportunities to improve or restore their health and well-being and reduce their stress levels through access to complementary and alternative therapies at an affordable price.

• Guiding Principles:

Flexibility- in the services we provide, the cost, the geographical area [Warrington Borough Council boundary], and the people we provide to.

Pricing – affordable charges per treatment [£5-10] to client group, and free of charge to specific client groups.

Structure – we are a Community Interest Company, chaired by Karen Blenkinsop, whose idea it was to set up this organisation. We have four other founder members who together with invited others will form groups to 1) Oversee the day-to-day running of the project and 2)  The meeting of our obligations to our clients and supporting/funding bodies.

We shall recruit interested people to join us in the delivery of the project; therapists wishing to offer their services [payment will be less than ‘normal;’ rates], and those who wish to kept informed of the development of the network, and maybe potential customers of our services.

The founder members are the decision-making body. None of us have any interest in creating a bureaucracy, and only a minimum level of formality is required to ensure the network functions as it is meant to.

We are:
